A brand-new storytelling format is arriving in the Future Chicken universe this April.
Launching April 1 on YouTube @FutureChickenOfficial, Future Chicken: Eco-Mysteries introduces a bold new series of vertical animated shorts- two-minute, cliffhanger episodes designed for how kids watch today. Eco-Mysteries is among the first serialized animated mystery series designed specifically as vertical, mobile-first episodes with cliffhangers.
Season One, Bloom Clock, unfolds across 12 fast-paced episodes that combine comedy, mystery, and time-travel adventure each ending with a twist that pulls viewers into the next chapter.
And something is very wrong.
In the future world of Eco Bay, nature’s rhythms have fallen out of sync. Flowers are blooming at the wrong time. Ecosystems are confused. The mysterious Bloom Clock, nature’s ancient calendar, has gone haywire.
Enter Future Chicken, the plucky time-traveling detective determined to solve the mystery.
She’s joined by her loyal team of Planet Protectors:
- Frittata, a cautious egghead whose insides sometimes feel as scrambled as his name
- Worm, a soil scientist with an unnervingly accurate palate and the keeper of the time portal
- Persa, a no-nonsense catfish who insists there is only one correct way to solve a problem (hers)
- Bello, a mushroom with a direct line to every tree on Earth
Together they race through history, chasing clues and unraveling what went wrong before Eco Bay’s future is lost for good. Part detective comedy, part time-travel adventure, Bloom Clock invites kids ages 6+ to laugh, solve mysteries, and discover how even the smallest actions can shape the future.
Commencing April 1, 2026, the two-minute episodes will be dropped weekly, each ending on a cliffhanger, creating a serialized mystery designed for mobile viewing. When watched together, the shorts connect into a single long-form special, blending the pace of short-form storytelling with the depth of a larger adventure.
Eco-Mysteries represents a new chapter for the award-winning Future Chicken franchise expanding the brand’s storytelling into vertical-first animated series designed for YouTube Shorts and social platforms.
